Most of my life this facility located on Broad Avenue in Altoona, PA, was known as the Jaffa "Mosque".
When did it become the Jaffa "Shrine"?
Did that happen since 9/11? Was this an effort to disconnect from any possible conception that there might be links to Islam?
Was it done in defference to Islam? So as not to suggest this was an Islamic holy place.
